I am a graduating student in the Advanced Professional MPH (Global Health) program at the Yale School of Public Health, where I have refined my career-long commitment to advancing global health equity through research, teaching, and practice. As a professor and director of the Urban SERCH Institute at the University of North Texas at Dallas, I have built a record of cross-sector leadership spanning government, academia, and international development.
At Yale, my academic journey has focused on purposeful work and meaningful impact. My practicum with the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation focused on designing innovative evaluation frameworks to assess knowledge retention among Cultural Ambassadors — trusted community liaisons bridging research and underserved populations. This work reflects my broader vision of strengthening community-engaged research and advancing inclusive health systems.
My global outlook was recognized by my selection as a Fulbright Specialist. I plan to collaborate with Panjab University in India to lead workshops on research, pedagogy, grant writing, and program evaluation, fostering international partnerships and capacity building.
Driven by a commitment to collaborative governance and health diplomacy, I aspire to shape equitable policies and strengthen health systems worldwide, ensuring that vulnerable and underserved populations remain central to global health innovation.
