Leaders in Public Health: Dr. Peggy Hamburg

Dr. Peggy Hamburg is an internationally recognized leader in public health and medicine. As the co-president of the IAP, she oversees an international consortium of national academies of science, medicine and engineering. Her previous roles include: Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health commissioner for New York City, President/chair of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
