Fifth International Conference on Alcohol & Cancer

May 10-14, 2026

About the Event

The 5th International Conference on Alcohol and Cancer (ICAC) builds on the success of previous meetings, bringing together leading scientists, clinicians, and public health experts from around the world to examine the growing body of evidence linking alcohol consumption to cancer. The conference will address alcohol-associated cancers including, but not limited to, esophageal, laryngeal, lung, breast, and colorectal cancers.

Alcohol consumption is estimated to contribute to more than 740,000 new cancer cases annually worldwide, accounting for approximately 4% of all global cancer diagnoses. Against this backdrop, ICAC serves as a critical platform for presenting cutting-edge basic, translational, and clinical research; fostering interdisciplinary collaborations; and engaging early-career investigators and students.

The conference emphasizes knowledge exchange, innovative research directions, and the translation of scientific discoveries into prevention and intervention strategies. Through plenary lectures, thematic sessions, and interactive discussions, ICAC aims to advance understanding of the mechanisms, risk factors, and public health implications of alcohol-related cancers.
