Several Yale Department of Psychiatry faculty members and fellows met with Nora D. Volkow, MD, director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse at the National Institutes of Health, on May 29 at Yale School of Medicine.
Volkow was at Yale to deliver the 2026 Beatrix A. McCleary Hamburg, MD Lectureship in the Harvey Cushing/John Hay Whitney Medical Library. The title of her talk was, "Translating Addiction Science into Prevention and Treatment."
The event was sponsored by the Yale School of Medicine Office for Women in Medicine and Science.
