To provide post doctoral trainees (M.D. or Ph.D.) training in research in order to become independent researchers in the drug abuse field.

• Treatment development and evaluation
• Psychopharmacology of substance use disorders
• Laboratory studies
• Stress and vulnerability
• Brain imaging (PET, MRI, EEG)
• Impulsivity and gambling disorders
• Behavioral genetics
• Chronic pain and opioid use disorder
• Tobacco product use and addiction

Individuals who have completed their M.D. or Ph.D. in a health related field and are interested in an academic career in the Substance Abuse Field.
