You are invited to attend the April 28th, webinar, YC-SCAN2 Webinar: Potential THC-Sparing Effects of Minor Cannabinoids: Investigation of CBG Analgesia and Appetite-Stimulating Effects Alone and in Combination with THC. As cannabis use and legalization expand across the United States, this timely session will explore emerging research on cannabinoids beyond THC, with a focus on the therapeutic potential of cannabigerol (CBG). Led by Ziva D. Cooper, PhD, this webinar will cover current trends in cannabis use, the clinical relevance of cannabinoids for pain and appetite regulation, the benefits and risks associated with THC (including anxiety and abuse liability), and findings from both preclinical and human laboratory studies on minor cannabinoids. Attendees will also gain insight into how specific cannabis constituents may reduce THC-related harms while preserving therapeutic benefits.
