    Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds: Leveraging the 72-Hour Rule Change to Support Transition From Hospital to Opioid Treatment Program

    Title: Leveraging the 72-Hour Rule Change to Support Transition From Hospital to Opioid Treatment Program


    Learning Objectives:

    1. Describe processes taken to develop and implement a federally compliant methadone take-home program in two geographically distinct hospitals​
    2. Describe characteristics of patients who received take-home methadone and identify variables associated with hospital-to-OTP linkage​
    3. Demonstrate healthcare cost savings to gain leadership buy-in for program development and implementation

      Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM
