GME Funding for QI Projects
Funding is available to fellows and residents pursuing quality improvement (QI) projects through the Health Equity, Patient Safety, and Quality Improvement (HEPSQI) Grant. Applications for HEPSQI grants are due March 15.

Student Education: Call for Faculty Volunteers
We are seeking faculty volunteers to support hands-on surgical skills training for medical students through two upcoming programs:

• Capstone Course – Suturing & Knot-Tying
  Help prepare graduating medical students for residency through focused skills instruction at the Yale Simulation Center. Date: Tuesday, March 17 | Time: 1-3 p.m. Sign up to express interest.
• SAP Clerkship – Suture Skills Sessions Support incoming Block students with foundational suturing instruction at the TAC Anatomy Lab (3rd Floor). Dates: March 31, July 7, Sept. 29. Time: Two hour slots, 12:15-4:15 p.m. Sign up to express interest.

Yale Cancer Center (YCC) invites proposals for the Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) Pilot Funding Opportunity to support new clinical IITs with a therapeutic intent in oncology by Mar. 30.

SciENcv & Common Forms
Common Forms are required for NIH applications due Jan. 25, 2026 or later. NIH will allow a grace period through May 2026, but faculty are strongly encouraged to transition to SciENcv in advance.
