Biography

Dr. Zhengxing Zhang received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 2010. He subsequently pursued postdoctoral training in organotantalum catalysis at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada, before completing a second postdoctoral fellowship at BC Cancer in conjunction with UBC in 2016. Following this fellowship, he continued at BC Cancer as a Research Associate, where he developed expertise in the design and synthesis of PET and SPECT radiopharmaceuticals. Dr. Zhang is currently an Associate Research Scientist at the Cardiovascular Research Center, Yale University, where his work focuses on the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
