Why did you choose medicine?
Why did you choose Yale Department of Internal Medicine for your fellowship?
I had the good fortune to come here for residency and already knew that I wanted to pursue geriatrics. After working with the passionate educators in the Section of Geriatrics and seeing the innovative research being done, staying for fellowship was the natural next step.
What was your path to Yale?
When I was applying for residency, I sought out programs with strong geriatrics departments, and Yale was my first choice. I had been in the northeast for several years and didn’t want to leave the ample green spaces and vibrant seasons.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I spent five months working on a cacao farm in Hawaii.
