Monica Fradkin, MPH, BSN, OCN, has been appointed vice president of Smilow Ambulatory and Radiation Oncology at Smilow Cancer Hospital.

Staff Spirit Week & Handsome Dan in FMB
Yale Staff Spirit Week will take place June 1-5, with Staff Appreciation Day on Tuesday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Old Campus. Handsome Dan will make an encore visit to the department on Thursday, June 11, from 2-3 p.m. in FMB 115.

State of the School
Dean Nancy J. Brown, MD, will deliver the annual State of the School address on June 9 and June 10 via Zoom. A recording will be available following the presentation.

C&T Self-Assessments Due May 30
C&T staff are asked to submit completed self-assessment forms to their managers by May 30.

The Office of Academic & Professional Development (OAPD) will hold the next faculty workshop with Darin Latimore, MD, deputy dean for Collaborative Excellence at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27.

Yale Biomedical Imaging Institute Symposium
YBII will celebrate its one-year anniversary on June 2 with keynote speaker Bruce Tromberg, PhD, director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.

Requirement for Continuing Review Submissions
All continuing review submissions to the Yale IRB, including those with modifications, must include a continuing review progress report.
