The Department of Surgery at Yale School of Medicine announces new leadership appointments within the Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
Adnan Prsic, MD, has been named program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. Prsic currently serves as associate professor of surgery (plastic surgery) and associate program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. He has shown a longstanding commitment to resident education, mentorship, and advancing the mission of the training program. As program director, he will help guide the continued growth and excellence of the residency.
The Department of Surgery extends its sincere gratitude to Henry Hsia, MD, for his service as program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and for his leadership to date.
Kerry Morrison, MD, has been named associate program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. Morrison currently serves as assistant professor of surgery (plastic surgery) and plastic surgery clerkship director. She has played an important role in medical student and resident education and is recognized for her commitment to mentorship and fostering a supportive training environment.
Tormod Westvik, MD, has also been named associate program director of the Plastic Surgery Residency Program. Westvik currently serves as associate professor of surgery (plastic surgery) and brings clinical expertise, dedication to education, and mentorship to the role.
Together, Prsic, Morrison, and Westvik form a leadership team committed to innovation, surgical excellence, professional development, and fostering a strong educational environment for the next generation of plastic surgeons.
