As your liaisons for the Department of Pediatrics to the Committee on the Status of Women in Medicine (SWIM), we'd like to introduce ourselves:

As your liaisons, we would love to hear from you! To that end, please join us for a lunch-and-listen session on Friday, May 8 from 12-1 p.m. in Trask 3108.

We are interested in discussing any concerns that have arisen for you that can be brought back to the larger group, as well as in hearing what you think SWIM should focus on in the coming academic year. Following the screening of “1001 Cuts” — a 20-minute documentary that sheds light on the experiences of women physicians in the high-stakes world of surgery — hear first-hand from the filmmaker and a panel of Yale surgeons discussing their challenges and successes, and how to inspire the next generation.
