Our laboratory is devoted to unraveling one of biology's most fundamental processes: how cells live and die. This knowledge sits at the heart of nearly every disease, from cancer to neurodegeneration. Our dedicated team works tirelessly on groundbreaking research, including innovative approaches to reprogram immune cells to fight cancer more effectively, and crucial investigations into the mechanisms of neuronal death in Alzheimer's disease.
Our work has earned the trust and support of prestigious organizations including the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, Gabrielle's Angels, Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, Lionheart Foundation, CT Breast Health Initiative, March of Dimes, and CT BioInnovation.
Your donation will directly support laboratory supplies, essential equipment, and help train the next generation of scientists through trainee salaries. If any of our research areas particularly resonate with you, we welcome the opportunity to discuss our work in more detail. Also, feel free to direct your contribution to specific research goals that matter most to you. Together, we can advance our understanding of cell death and develop new treatments for these devastating diseases.
