- 00:00So much Margaret to be here with me and what I want to ask you is why we need women in medicine advocacy. We're in 2019. Are we there yet. We're totally not there yet and still in this day and age.
- 00:31Responsibilities and they don't meet predefined milestones that were designed for men by men for promotion and so there's still lots. And lots to do for women in this day and age. I did notice. Today, though, that there was a lactation room at the Convention Center, so that was a paragraph progression and I also notice that chest is advertising that they're going to have child care at their meeting, which is also I think a big deal. But Despite that, I think you know women are still not at leadership roles.
- 01:02We're fortunate in our division 'cause. We have 50% women, but we are the anomaly. Most places don't have women and so we're lucky 'cause we recruit more women because we have women. But so many program directors. Ask me How do I recruit women into my program while I said you need to get women faculty in order to recruit women? Enter your program that's really interesting. Thank you so much for your inputs, you're welcome.
