2026 | Yale Point of Care Ultrasound Course

Early Bird Registration Now Open! September 9-11, 2026, in Newport, RI

Our Courses

The Yale University Department of Emergency Medicine, Section of Emergency Ultrasound, invites you to enhance your point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) skills with us.

As we celebrate our 25th year, we are excited to bring together experts from around New England for a comprehensive POCUS course hosted in picturesque Newport, Rhode Island. We invite you to immerse yourself in the vibrant fall colors while gaining vital ultrasound skills that will positively impact your practice.

We proudly continue our signature "two-track" approach, allowing for small groups with plenty of hands-on training tailored to levels from introductory to advanced. Our three-day course starts with a full day and then allows two afternoons to explore Newport, or if you choose you can join an optional half-day nerve block course on Thursday afternoon.

This event hosts multiple vendors, making it an excellent opportunity to become familiar with equipment you already have or to explore new technologies and compare various vendors side-by-side. This course is ideal for emergency physicians, intensivists, internal and family medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals, including advanced practice providers and nurse practitioners eager to integrate POCUS into their work.

We look forward to seeing you there!
