    Clinical Care

    Overview

Fatima Zeba, MD, MBBS, is an internal medicine specialist focusing on pulmonary critical care. She sees patients with complex lung conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and scarring of the lungs. She also cares for patients who have trouble breathing due to infections, blood clots in the lungs, or respiratory failure that may require a breathing machine.

As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Zeba takes part in teaching and academic work in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Her training in applied biostatistics supports her interest in using medical data to improve care for patients with complex lung and critical illnesses.

Dr. Zeba earned her medical degrees from Kent County Hospital/Brown University and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and her MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College in India. She completed her internship at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, her residency at Kent County Hospital, and a fellowship in pulmonary care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She also received an advanced applied biostatistics certificate through Harvard Catalyst.
