Ragasnehith Maddula, MD, CA-1 resident, has been appointed to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Review Committee for anesthesiology, effective July 1, 2026. This position will allow him to help shape graduate medical education for anesthesiology residents on a national scale. He will advise on key policies for medical education, accreditation standards, and physician training.
In addition to serving on the Review Committee, Maddula will serve as a member of the Council of Review Committee Residents (CRCR) during his term. The CRCR offers key insights on topics that affect resident education and well-being. These include program requirement updates, milestones and professionalism standards, and training improvements.
