Global Health

The Department of Anesthesiology through the Committee for Belonging, Access and Inclusive excellence is dedicated to advancing the professional development of residents through meaningful engagement in national conferences and global health initiatives. By fostering academic discourse, promoting cross-cultural exchange, promoting the department in its recruitment efforts, and supporting scholarly participation, the committee seeks to cultivate a more inclusive and representative medical community. Through sponsorship and mentorship, we aim to equip residents with the necessary skills to address health disparities, contribute to evidence-based solutions, and lead initiatives that enhance equity in healthcare on both national and global scales.

Every year we receive multiple requests through the GME office or from individuals for sponsorship. We aim to not only streamline the process but to ensure all request are reviewed in a fair and unbiased process.
