Overview

Sudhir Kadian, MD, is an anesthesiologist who cares for adults before, during, and after surgery and other procedures. He focuses on providing safe anesthesia and helping patients feel as comfortable as possible throughout their experience.

Dr. Kadian cares for people with a wide range of medical conditions who need anesthesia, from those having minor procedures to those undergoing complex operations. He evaluates each patient’s health, reviews their medical history, and talks with them about the type of anesthesia that is best for their situation. He monitors patients closely during procedures and manages pain and recovery afterward.

As an instructor (clinical) at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Kadian is involved in teaching trainees in anesthesiology. He helps future anesthesiologists learn how to assess patients, select anesthesia plans, and respond to changes in patients’ conditions during surgery.

Dr. Kadian earned his medical degree from Assam Medical College in India. He completed an internship at Louisiana State University Medical Center, followed by residency training in anesthesiology and a fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
