Christopher Sweeney, PA

Christopher Sweeney, PA, is a clinician in emergency medicine who cares for patients with urgent and serious medical needs. He was first introduced to emergency medicine at 16 while working as an EMT and has been drawn to the field ever since. He evaluates and treats patients presenting with a wide range of concerns, including chest pain, breathing difficulties, injuries, infections, and acute illnesses.

In the emergency setting, Sweeney takes a careful and efficient approach to care. He works to quickly gather key information, communicate clearly with patients about what to expect, and collaborate closely with his team to determine the safest next steps.

“As a clinician, I am dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care and always acting in my patients’ best interests,” he says. “As a person, I strive to bring a sense of calm and reassurance to what can often be a stressful and uncertain environment.

“I am committed to continually refining my clinical skills and expanding my knowledge to provide the highest quality care,” he adds. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in each patient’s experience and to positively impact the broader community I serve. I would also like to contribute to the education of the next generation of PAs.”

Sweeney earned his graduate degree as a physician assistant from Yale University after receiving his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan.
