The Office of Collaborative Excellence and Student Engagement provides outreach to students who pursue healthcare and biomedical careers.
- The YSM Science Fellows Program is designed to support the research and postdoctoral careers of outstanding research scientists. The program aims to attract top PhD and MD/PhD recent graduates to engage in independent research and support them in transitioning into open faculty positions at Yale or other institutions.
The Joint Student Council is responsible for developing, promoting, and funding student activities, improving medical student quality of life, and fostering greater interactions with other Yale graduate schools and departments.

Visiting Student Scholarship Participating Departments
Yale School of Medicine is actively pursuing a variety of ways to enhance access to health care careers. The Visiting Student Scholarship Program is an opportunity for visiting U.S. medical students to apply for a scholarship for a clinical elective at Yale School of Medicine.
