    Research

    Overview

Her research specifically focuses on the dual burden faced by vulnerable populations who are exposed to both environmental and occupational stressors, in addition to the social stressors prevalent in their daily lives. She is particularly interested in the interplay between social and chemical stressors and their cumulative impact on human health. Currently, she is actively involved in a cohort study to assess the dual effect of chronic pesticide exposure and displacement stressors on the neurobehavioral outcomes of Syrian refugee agricultural workers in the Beqaa region of Lebanon.
