Reba Gillis, MD

Reba is the incoming administrative fellow for the Yale New Haven Health Emergency Department where she will assist with operations-based projects.

Prior to this new role, Reba served as Chief Resident in her fourth year of residency where she was involved with resident recruitment, served as Minority Housestaff President and At-Large Board Member for RSA/AAEM.

Reba was non-traditional in her journey to medicine after completing undergrad at Dartmouth College. She was a scribe in two medical offices and started a uniform retail business in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Rutgers-Newark prior to her Medical Degree at NYMC.
