    Biography

    Dr. Jack Porrino is a Professor of diagnostic radiology with the Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in musculoskeletal imaging, providing image interpretation and specialty-specific procedures.

    Dr. Porrino earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his medical degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Following his radiology residency training at the University of Arizona, Dr. Porrino performed specialty training in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Washington.

    While Dr. Porrino's research interests are varied, he has a particular affinity for pathology of the wrist, as well as the multi-ligament knee injury (MLKI), with numerous related publications.

    Jack Porrino, MD, is a musculoskeletal radiologist who specializes in imaging and diagnosing conditions that affect bones, joints, muscles, and ligaments. He provides specialized evaluations for issues such as wrist injuries and serious knee problems, including multi-ligament knee injuries, a condition in which multiple knee ligaments are damaged.

    As a professor of radiology and biomedical imaging at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Porrino pursues research on various musculoskeletal pathologies. He completed his medical training at the University of Nevada Reno, followed by a radiology residency at the University of Arizona and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Washington.
