    Biography

    Dr. Agin-Liebes is a licensed clinical psychologist and Instructor. She currently serves as the lead investigator at Yale on a Connecticut state-funded psilocybin trial examining the safety and efficacy of psilocybin therapy in a real-world, transdiagnostic population. Her research, which has been supported by the National Institutes of Health (i.e., NIDA and NIAAA), combines quantitative and qualitative methodologies to investigate psychological mechanisms underlying psychedelic-assisted therapy. She has also explored the therapeutic potential of ceremonial plant medicine use in indigenous community settings for trauma-related disorders. Dr. Agin-Liebes brings extensive expertise in treating substance use and trauma disorders and is certified in psilocybin, MDMA, and ketamine-assisted therapies.
