Jack Carew is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases. He has collaborated with teams in Syria, Colombia, Jordan, and Cameroon on projects elucidating environmental and genetic characteristics of malaria and leishmaniasis transmission. His GHES project investigates the use of xenosurveillance for monitoring the and spread of partially artemisinin-resistant malaria.
