Welcoming one of the newest YCSC community members: Meet Caitlyn Loucas

The Yale Child Study Center welcomes new community members on an on-going basis, and all new faculty, staff, and trainees are invited to share bios and photos upon joining the YCSC. This month, the department’s newest pediatric psychologist responded to the call. Meet (and welcome!) Caitlyn Loucas, PhD.

Caitlyn Loucas, Phd: Prior to joining the YCSC and Yale New Haven Hospital as a pediatric psychologist embedded within the Division of Oncology and Hematology, Loucas received her PhD at American University in 2022. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psycho-oncology at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware with special clinical and research emphasis on identifying trajectories of psychosocial vulnerability and providing comprehensive support to the family unit during pediatric cancer treatment.
