Tobias Wasser, MD, adjunct associate professor of psychiatry, has been appointed associate dean for faculty affairs at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
The appointment will take effect July 1.
Wasser will oversee the Office of Faculty Affairs, providing leadership for faculty governance, appointments and promotions, faculty policy, and professional development, and will work to ensure consistent standards, fair processes, and strong support for faculty success across the medical school.
Wasser, a graduate of the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program, has served as interim assistant dean for faculty affairs since July and as chair of psychiatry and behavioral health for the Fairfield Region of Hartford Healthcare for three years, a role he will continue to hold concurrent with this appointment.
