    Should You Get Lung Screening?

    You should be screened for lung cancer if you are:

    • 50 to 80 years old
    • Currently smoking or quit within the last 15 years
    • Smoked cigarettes for at least 20 pack-years

    - 20 pack-years is the equivalent of:

    - One pack/day for 20 years, or

    - Two packs/day for 10 years or • A half pack/day for 40 years
