BIDS Graduates First CB&B Master's Cohort

Twenty-three students in Yale's inaugural Computational Biology and Biomedical Informatics (CB&B) master's program delivered final research project presentations April 17 and 24, 2026, at Yale's Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (BIDS), concluding the program's first year of graduate study.

By the Numbers

Nearly 80% of the Class of 2026 were admitted to doctoral programs or accepted professional employment. Eight graduates were admitted to doctoral programs at institutions such as MIT, Yale, Cornell, and Emory, and ten accepted professional positions in academia and industry. Five graduates remained in active candidacy at the time of publication.

About the Program

The CBB MS is a terminal master's program housed within Yale's Section of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science (BIDS).
