What do you look forward to about Yale Urology and New Haven? What really stood out on interview day was how welcoming and down-to-earth everyone was. Yale felt like a place where I could be myself and feel supported, which matters a lot when committing to five years of training. I also appreciated how clearly the faculty backed residents’ goals, whether in research or fellowship, which made it clear that Yale is a place where I could grow into the kind of surgeon I hope to be. In terms of New Haven, I’m looking forward to being close to my family in Boston and New York City and indulging in pizza, pizza, and more pizza!

What would you be doing if not urology? I’d be a high school math teacher and a Pilates instructor.

Random fact: I’m an adrenaline junkie – I’ve scuba dived through sunken WWII ships in the Mediterranean Sea and gone shark diving without a cage!
