YNHH Medical Staff Election
Faculty are invited to vote in the Yale New Haven Hospital Medical Staff election for president-elect, secretary/credentials committee chair, and MEC member at large. Voting is open until 4 p.m. on Monday, June 15. We thank Kelly Olino, MD, for her leadership as secretary/credentials committee chair, concluding Sept. 1.

eCart Push Notifications
Two provider push SecureChat notifications are now in effect for floor-level patients with persistently red eCART scores and/or signs of sepsis.

Consult Attestation Progress
There has been recent improvement in timely inpatient consult attestations. Please continue completing them within 24 hours in accordance with YNHH bylaws.

Registration Open for MedEd Day
The June 4 program includes keynote speaker Kate Tellers, oral presentations, workshops, and a reception. Advanced registration is required for each session.

FAME Program Now Open
Applications for the Fellows As Medical Educators (FAME) program are open through Tuesday, June 30 and must be co-signed by the Fellowship Program Director.

Student Education: Call for Faculty Volunteers
We are seeking faculty volunteers to support hands-on training for the SAP Clerkship's scheduled suture skills sessions: July 7, Sept. 29. Two-hour time slots are available, 12:15 - 4:15 p.m. Sign up to express interest.

Staff Spirit Week & Handsome Dan in FMB
Yale Staff Spirit Week will take place June 1-5, with Staff Appreciation Day on Tuesday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Old Campus. Handsome Dan will make an encore visit to the department on Thursday, June 11, from 2-3 p.m. in FMB 115.

State of the School
Dean Nancy J. Brown, MD, will deliver the annual State of the School address on June 9 and June 10 via Zoom. A recording will be available following the presentation.

Yale Biomedical Imaging Institute Symposium
YBII will celebrate its one-year anniversary on June 2 with keynote speaker Bruce Tromberg, PhD, director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.

Requirement for Continuing Review Submissions
All continuing review submissions to the Yale IRB, including those with modifications, must include a continuing review progress report.
