Changes to YNHH Medical Staff Bylaws
The YNHH Medical Executive Committee has proposed changes to board recertification requirements, consult responsibilities in ambulatory settings, and medical staff officer composition. Active medical staff members can submit feedback through April 26.

New Consult Workflow
A new workflow now reminds primary teams when a consulted physician requests a re-consult before discharge. Add .CONSULTSIGNOFF to your preferred consultant template or use the new System Consult Progress Note to activate the workflow. Please incorporate this dotphrase into all consult progress notes and use it consistently.

Student Research Day
Yale School of Medicine’s annual symposium will take place Tuesday, May 5. To encourage full participation, departments and divisions are asked to avoid scheduling meetings and conferences after noon.

April 8: Academic Health System Town Hall
Christopher O’Connor, CEO of YNHHS, and Nancy J. Brown, Dean of YSM, will host the next town hall for our academic health system on Wednesday, April 8, from 8 to 9 a.m.

New Micromobility Device Policy
As a fire safety measure, effective April 13, the storage and charging of all micromobility devices (MMDs)—including e-scooters and e-bikes—will be strictly prohibited inside Yale-owned buildings.

Annual Staff Assessments
The year-end performance management process has officially begun, with self-assessments due April 30 for M&P staff and May 30 for C&T staff.
