The American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR) recognized Michele H. Johnson, MD, professor of radiology and biomedical imaging and of neurosurgery, with its Gold Medal Professor Award.
Established in 2012, the award is the society's highest honor, presented annually to members for exceptional service, education, and research in spine radiology. Johnson specializes in treating aneurysms, strokes, and vascular malformations in conjunction with neurosurgery. She is director of interventional neuroradiology at Yale Medicine.
