Daniela Raffaela Galluzzo, MD, has been named an Assistant Professor of Neurology (Neuro-Oncology) and cares for patients as part of the Chênevert Family Brain Tumor Center at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven and Waterford. Dr. Galluzzo received her medical degree from Vita-Salute San Raffaele Medical School in Milan, Italy. She then completed her residency in Neurology at Westchester Medical Center where she was Chief Resident.
She completed her fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at Yale during which she received a scholarship to complete the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) Clinical Trial Course. Dr. Galluzzo cares for patients with primary brain tumors such as glioma, meningioma, and primary CNS lymphoma. She has a particular interest in caring for patients with meningiomas, genetic cancer syndromes (such as Neurofibromatosis), and metastatic brain tumors. She conducts clinical research on meningiomas and primary CNS lymphoma and is part of ongoing clinical trials.
