Yale RNA club: Seminar Series (2026)

A forum for RNA science across Yale

The Yale RNA Club meets monthly to highlight research-in-progress from trainees affiliated with the Yale RNA Center. Each session features two 20-minute talks, followed by a discussion with the community and constructive feedback from Yale RNA Center faculty and PIs. The club is designed to foster scientific exchange, collaboration, and a supportive training environment.

Meetings are held in person and alternate monthly between Science Hill and the Medical Campus.

This month's RNA club will be held at Hope Memorial Building, Room 103, School of Medicine, with 20-minute talks featuring:

- Morgan Shine (Neugebauer lab) -- Gradual and sudden exposure to heat stress induces shared and unique changes in alternative splicing in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.

- Yuekang Zhang (Xiong lab) -- rOGRE reveals translation elongation dynamics in diverse human cells.

Join us for two short talks, thoughtful feedback, and a friendly discussion with the RNA community.
