The Yale Biomedical Imaging Institute (YBII) will host its inaugural symposium on June 12, 2026, at Harkness Auditorium. The event marks YBII’s first year and will bring together investigators and trainees from across Yale to highlight new collaborations and directions in biomedical imaging.
Director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB), Bruce Tromberg, PhD, will deliver the keynote address, “Accelerating Innovation and Technology Development through Engineering – Medicine Partnerships.” The program will also include brief talks from recipients of YBII’s first round of exploratory study awards, followed by a poster reception.
Everyone is welcome. Join us to learn more about YBII and to explore biomedical imaging research taking place across the Yale community. YBII’s mission is to create an interdisciplinary research environment that aims to improve our understanding of health and disease through biomedical imaging.
