Public Health Committee Informational Forum - First Episode Psychosis
Senator Saud Anwar, co-chair of the Public Health committee, has invited the Program for Specialized Treatment Early in Psychosis (STEP) to lead an informational forum to discuss the first annual report of the statewide learning health system for recent-onset schizophrenia (the STEP Learning Collaborative) on July 31st from 1-2:30 p.m. Also present will be representatives from the Department of Mental Health and Addictions Services (DMHAS) and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) who have developed this initiative in collaboration with the STEP Program at Yale.
STEP has invited other stakeholders as requested by the committee: including family members, a person with lived experience (Cecilia McGough, Students with Psychosis), and a College representative (Nick Pinkerton, Associate Dean of Counseling Services and Wellbeing, SCSU).
