PRCH Completes Community Co-Design Facilitators Training

1 Minute Read

The Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health (PRCH) is recognizing women's voices and leadership, and supporting future community leaders.

PRCH, working with The Collective for Refugees & Immigrant Women's Wellbeing, announces the completion of the Community Co-Design Facilitators Training. Eight Afghan women who speak Dari and Pashto finished PRCH's second Co-Design training in March 2026.

Through this training, these women are preparing to become Community Co-Design Facilitators. They will lead a community project, making sure Afghan women's experiences and ideas are included at every stage. These facilitators will help guide PRCH's project so Afghan women's voices are heard. This approach helps participants build facilitator skills and create project tools that match the community’s needs.

The collaboration includes the Yale PRCH team, Yale School of Management, and the Collective for Refugees & Immigrant Women's Wellbeing Board Fellow. Special thanks go to Sara Bloem for being part of this journey, and to co-design facilitators Billy Bromage, Bridgett Williamson, and Annie Harper.
