DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Yale-NEABPD planning committee\, we are pleas
 ed to announce the 20th Annual Yale-NEABPD Conference\, taking place on S
 aturday\, May 3rd 2025. The conference theme this year is Increasing acce
 ss to effective tools: Universal skills for emotion regulation and interp
 ersonal effectiveness and will feature keynote speaker Dr. Shireen Rizvi.
  Researchers\, clinical experts and people with lived experience and thei
 r families will present on increasing access to effective treatment and r
 esources and share their stories of change and growth. This year's talks 
 will address focal topics such as barriers to treatment\, resource access
 ibility\, and methods to bolster community support in the treatment of bo
 rderline personality disorder (BPD). This theme was chosen to reflect the
  vision of NEABPD: Building a world where emotional wisdom prevails for a
 ll. This conference will be held in hybrid format\, with in-person attend
 ance available at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven\, Connecticut and 
 live streaming available for those looking to attend virtually. We look f
 orward to a day filled with a spectacular lineup of professional and live
 d-experience speakers! This event is approved for 6 APA CECs. This progra
 m has been approved for 6.5 Continuing Education Credit Hours by the Nati
 onal Association of Social Workers\, CT and meets the continuing educatio
