Workshop - Speed Mentoring in Educational Scholarship: Time to Learn about Resources and Meet Your Match!

This workshop is designed to increase the visibility of educational scholarship resources at Yale and provide mentoring to participants on their educational scholarship. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with senior faculty who participate in educational scholarship in a rotating (speed mentoring) format. In small breakout groups, participants will briefly discuss their scholarship interests and pose questions to the senior faculty about their projects. Senior faculty will brainstorm ways to help with the participants’ scholarship including potential mentors, resources, and directions for their scholarship. Participants will rotate in groups to allow interaction with multiple designated senior faculty. Senior faculty experts participating in the workshop come from different departments and have diverse scholarship interests including DEI, clinical reasoning, technology, simulation, QI, burnout, and assessment.
