Register for OAPD's Grand Rounds webinar on May 27, at noon, “Dialing Up ‘Thrive’—Strengthening Agency and Adaptability in Fast-Changing Systems.” As healthcare systems undergo rapid structural and technological changes, the pace may affect our clinical focus and professional well-being. Change fatigue is a common experience for those leading departments or managing clinics. This session moves beyond theory to explore the Science of Change—offering a research-backed framework to help you reclaim your autonomy, reduce organizational friction, and shift from simply "getting through the day" to leading with purpose and impact.

Presented by Martha Deery, Master of Science, Director at Kotter International, a change leadership firm founded by Harvard Business School Professor John Kotter.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe how today’s pace of change and uncertainty can impact individual sense of agency, autonomy and professional identity.
  • Identify core leadership behaviors that can help maintain momentum and clarity during periods of uncertainty.
  • Implement specific tactics to improve personal resilience and strengthen organizational agility amid continuous change.
