Lindenthal Lecture Explores Ethics, Power, and the Lessons of Nazi Medicine

This year’s Lindenthal Lecture on Holocaust and Genocide was given by David Goldman, JD, founder and chairman of the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics. Goldman’s lecture, Nazi Doctors: Learning from Complicity, explored ethics, power, and the commercialization of medicine.

The Lindenthal Lecture has been held annually since 2022 to engage academic and medical audiences in issues related to the Holocaust and Nazi era genocide with a focus on the role played by physicians.

The lecture was presented by the Program for Biomedical Ethics and supported through the generosity of the Jacob Lindenthal family.
