DESCRIPTION:Yale School of Medicine (YSM) and Educational Technology & Inn
 ovation (ETI) team will host its second Ideathon\, scheduled for April 20
 \, 2026\, at the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library team-based learning clas
 sroom (SHM L 115). The workshop will be followed by an optional reception
  at 5:30-6:30 p.m. Following last year's successful inaugural event\, the
  upcoming Ideathon will once again bring together Yale’s diverse communit
 y—including faculty\, students\, residents\, fellows\, post-docs\, and st
 aff—to collaboratively tackle pressing challenges in medical education th
 rough innovative technological solutions. Building on the framework of la
 st year’s event\, which featured inspirational problem pitches\, collabor
 ative brainstorming sessions\, and solution presentations\, this year's I
 deathon will continue to foster a culture of innovation within the medica
 l education space. Participants will have the opportunity to propose medi
 cal education-related design challenges\, form interdisciplinary teams\, 
 and develop prototypes or strategies that leverage advanced technologies\
 , such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality. Highlights: Welc

 . Challenge Pitches: Participants will pitch design challenges to be addr
 essed\, followed by team formations for collaborative work. Brainstorming
  and Development: Teams will engage in structured brainstorming sessions\
 , guided by YSM ETI members\, using techniques guided by “mini teach” ses
 sions. Solution Presentations: Teams will present their creative solution
 s\, demonstrating the potential impact on medical education. Networking R
 eception: A reception will conclude the event\, offering further networki
