Natasha grew up in the suburbs of Houston, Texas before moving to St. Louis to attend Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Biomedical Engineering with an Electrical Engineering minor. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to the Memphis, Tennessee area where she taught high school Chemistry and was the varsity volleyball and track and field coach for three years. She then attended the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis for medical school before matching into Otolaryngology residency here at Yale. She doesn't yet know what sub-specialty she wants to pursue if any, but knows that she is passionate about mentorship and increasing underrepresented minority and low income students' access to medicine and surgical subspecialties.
In her free time, she loves to play volleyball, Latin dance, try new restaurants with her boyfriend, read, lounge on the couch with her cat and binge Netflix.
