LaPaglia Honored With APA's Society of Clinical Psychology Award for Distinguished Service

Donna LaPaglia, PsyD, associate professor of psychiatry, has been presented with the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Society of Clinical Psychology (SCP)-Division 12 Award for Distinguished Service in 2024.

The award was presented at a ceremony in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It honors exceptional service at the national level that reflects a significant contribution to the association and the society, in the areas of practice, research, teaching, and administration.

LaPaglia is the society’s immediate past president. She is director of the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit and associate director of addiction services at the Connecticut Mental Health Center.
