Biography
Md. Safaet Hossain Sujan is a young, dedicated, and ambitious public health researcher. He earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Jahangirnagar University Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is doing his Ph.D. in Health Promotion Sciences at the Allied Health Sciences Department at the University of Connecticut. His primary areas of interest range from innovative interventions that address the social and psychological aspects of living with HIV/AIDS to epidemiological studies of the spread of the virus among populations at high risks, such as transgender people, sex workers, men who have sex with men, and injection drug users. His research focus also covers addiction and other health behaviors. Currently, he’s the coordinator of the NIH-funded JomPrEP research project.
