Rebecca Bonheur

Rebecca is a research fellow in Developmental Psychopathology and Social Neuroscience for the SANA program in the Chawarska Lab. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Business and Anthropology. In her final year at UVA, she worked as a research assistant where she studied developmental neuroscience and analyzed how neural patterns change throughout infancy, childhood, and early adulthood. Additionally, her senior thesis used EEG to investigate whether a person's gender identity influenced their neural responses to viewing gendered third-party social interactions.
