Title: Does PTSD Comorbidity Influence Treatment of Substance Use Disorders?
Learning Objectives:
- Define and describe the prevalence of comorbidity of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) / opioid use disorder (OUD).
- Define and describe effective treatments for PTSD in the setting of AUD/OUD.
- Critique efficacy of these treatments among those with comorbid conditions.
- Identify new potential treatments for these disorders when they co-occur.
